Drink Water or Beverages and Eat well
Staying in a good hydrated status can keep your stress levels down this is because water acts a lubricant around your muscle and joints which helps prevent against cramping, allowing you to work out harder and longer. Some people don’t like drinking water that is not cold at all, hence for you to stay hydrated, it is advised you add some ice-cubes inside the water. Also, beverages such as green tea and or fruits can help reduce stress. Note: it is not advisable for a stressed person to take beverages with caffeine or gassy or acidic drink when one is stressed. In addition, good food helps to relieve stress a lot. It is obvious that when we are stressed or overwhelmed with stress, we tend to forget to eat well. Notwithstanding, there are some music that can be of help. For instance, playing calm music has a positive effect on the brain and body, can lower blood pressure, and reduce cortisol, a hormone linked to stress. It is therefore advised that one should listen to classical music; especially the slow quiet ones, Light Jazz and Native American music. But if you aren’t a fan of this music, you could play sometime else that will make you relax and stress-relieved.
Talk it out with a Friend or Yourself
Nobody is an Island, you shouldn’t live in a world of isolation, there should be at least a friend or two that you can talk to and will give you a listening ear. Someone that can advise you with words of comfort and that is why it is good you choose your friends rightly. Therefore, when stressed, pick your phone, call a friend and talk about what is disturbing you or visit w friend or hangout with a friend or two. To have a healthy lifestyle, good friends and loved ones are very Paramount most especially when you are passing through a whole lot of stress. Lack of sleep can cause stress although, stress can also make one not to feel sleepy Lack of sleep is a vicious cycle that causes the brain and body to get out of whack and only gets worse with time. So it is advised to always try as much as possible to sleep well to reduce stress. Go to bed on time, and if sleep is not forth coming, relax your mind and thing of those happy moments of your life and you will sure get some sleep.
